Multiple Sclerosis –Six cups of coffee a day may help cut the threat of developing multiple sclerosis (MS). A research team of experts from leading health institutions in Sweden and the United States reviewed previous studies and came to that surprising conclusion.
Cirrhosis of the liver –Researchers at England’s University of Southampton found a direct correlation between coffee consumption and reduced risk of cirrhosis of the liver. They found that people who drink two cups of coffee more than the average consumption rates enjoy a 44 percent lower risk of developing cirrhosis. That incurable disease kills about a million people every year.
Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease – Two different studies are reporting that long-term coffee drinking seems to offer protection against diseases that involve neurological breakdowns.
