Our rigorous testing ensures that you have a great experience with our delicious, commercially compostable† coffee pods. New brewer makes and models come out regularly and we check them to ensure that they work with our PURPOD100® commercially compostable† pods.

New brewing technologies can affect how our pods work

If you have one of the new Keurig®* brewers that use the MultiStream Technology™* you may experience some issues with lid puncturing performance on our commercially compostable† pods.

How to Install the BrewBoostR™

How Do I Install the BrewBoostR™?

If you’ve already received your free BrewBoostR™, you can insert it into your Keurig®* brewer with MultiStream Technology™* by following the steps below.

Caution:

These steps should only be performed by an adult.
Using this tool may affect your Keurig®* warranty.
BrewBoostR™, although made from food-safe materials, is not consumable and is not a toy, and should be kept out of the reach of children.
Be careful to avoid the needles as they are quite sharp and could cause injury.

Installing the BrewBoostR™ Brewer Adapter

1 Ensure the brewer has had time to cool since the last brew.

2 Turn the brewer off.

3 Unplug the brewer.

4 Lift the handle to open the brewing chamber.

5 If there is a used pod or K-Cup®* pod, remove it.

6 CAUTION: There are sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup®* pods located above the K-Cup®* pod holder and in the bottom of the K-Cup®* pod holder. To avoid risk of injury, do not put your fingers in the K-Cup®* pod holder. Remove the K-Cup®* pod holder from the brewer by grasping the top of it with one hand while pushing up on the bottom of it from underneath with the other hand until it releases.

7 Set aside the K-Cup®* pod holder.

8 Orient the BrewBoostR™ in the brewing chamber, using the two front ribs as a guide and snap into place from the top.

9 After inserting the BrewBoostR™, reinsert the K-Cup®* pod holder by aligning it with the opening using the two front ribs as a guide and snap into place from the top.

10 Close the brewing chamber.

11 Once the chamber is closed, place your mug under the dispenser and run a test brew with hot water.
