Trillium Network for Advanced Manufacturing Ltd. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growth of Ontario manufacturing. Originally conceived by Paul Boothe and Richard Dicerni as a vehicle to implement the recommendations of the Lawrence Centre’s “Future of Canadian Manufacturing” research, Ontario Government funding for the Network was announced in Budget 2014. The Network was incorporated and funding was received in 2015.
Working with partners, Trillium connects, convenes and collaborates with like-minded individuals and organizations to support the growth of Ontario manufacturing. They use their network to connect partners to make them aware of the many initiatives underway to support manufacturing. When appropriate, they convene groups to discuss issues and opportunities facing Ontario manufacturers. Finally, they look for opportunities to collaborate with partners on projects of common interest.
